Vintage Poppytrail Metlox Vernon Sculptured DAISY Cookie Jar & Lid Topiary
Presenting a rare & vintage "Poppytrail, Metlox, Vernon" California Pottery Cookie Jar with Lid in the Sculptured Daisy Pattern.  There are Embossed White Daisies on a Matte Finish.
Pattern started in 1964 and discontinued in 1983.
Topiary-Shaped Footed Piece measures 8 1/2" tall by 7 1/2" across.  Ceramic Foot or Base measures 4 3/8" across.
Jar is in very good vintage condition.  Lid has a 3/8" x 1/4" chip with crack lines - easy to see underneath but harder to see the cracks thru the daisies on the lid - see Photos #6 thru #9.  Lid has a Daisy Finial.
Blind embossed on the bottom - "Made in California, Poppytrail" and a Stamped "25" and inside the lid a "43" is stamped.
Can be used as a Cookie Jar, or as a decorative piece such as a Planter or Holder.
