Vintage Metlox-Poppy Trail "Provincial Blue" 3-Tiered Serving Tray
- The assembled stand is 15" in Height. The three plate tiers measure 12", 10" and 7-1/2" in Width, respectively.
This "Provincial Blue" pattern is reminiscent of a Pat Buckley Moss painting and features a Blue Farm Scene with a Farmer with a Horse-drawn Plow and Blue Border Design on blue speckled stoneware. It was made in the U.S.A. This pattern is discontinued and was active from 1952 until 1980.
Excellent condition. The wood dowels look dry and would benefit from oil or a conditioning treatment. No apparent cracks or chips, except at one dowel hole, as shown in the photos. I will disassemble this for shipping safely. Being used and 40+ years old, it is being sold as is.
