Metlox Poppytrail Woodland Gold Bread/Butter Plate EUC-Multiples Available

Description

Vintage Metlox Poppytrail in the Woodland Gold pattern. Large brown, green & orange leaves on a brown-speckled, oatmeal-colored base. Made from 1959-1979. Estate find in phenomenal condition!! No chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks. As usual with pottery made in that era, there are rough marks where the piece was popped from its mould. Each piece is hand painted so the number of speckles varies as does the deepness of the colors and vein details in the leaves.
Listing is for ONE bread-n-butter plate measuring 6 1/2" in diameter but I have several. Due to the variations, if you want photos of the exact one you'll receive just ask me before buying. All have the same quality.

LISTINGS with SETS: Occasionally I sell items that are part of a matching set. If you want only one item within the set feel free to ask for a quote. Sometimes I’ll break sets up. However, I will create a new Ebay listing for the single item as I will not sell outside of Ebay.
CONDITION: I sell vintage collectibles. This means the vast majority of my inventory is not in new condition. Please understand that a lot of what I sell is at least 30 or more years old and may show signs of wear, handling or extended storage. I mention as many details regarding condition as I notice. Please review the description and the photos and ask me as many questions as you like before buying. I will do the best I can to answer any specific issue for you. I don’t have a rating system like other sellers because words are subjective. In other words, some people are pickier than others and that’s OK. Feel free to ask me questions.
PROVENANCE: I spend a lot of time researching items to provide you with as much information as I can but I’m not an expert. If you need to know something more specific in order to make a decision, please ask before bidding. If you feel I have made a mistake then please let me know. I love to learn new things and do not take offense. I’ve made many new friends with this dialogue.
PAYMENT: Currently, I’m only set up to accept PayPal. If you do not pay within 4 days or if you do not contact me within 4 days about payment, I will relist the item and report the non-payment to ebay.
SHIPPING: I usually ship the next business day after receiving payment. Shipping covers only my cost of postage and packing materials - I do not inflate charges. I am on your side when lamenting about how much the USPS charges but it’s out of my control. Breakables should be shipped in boxes much larger than the item itself to leave room for peanuts, air pillows, etc. and for compression to avoid any mishaps. A lot of what I sell is double-boxed or walled for added safety so your item arrives intact. This adds size and weight to the shipment though and that is the trade off.
If you buy multiple items from my store I will combine shipping IF PRACTICAL. Simply drop me an email BEFORE YOU PAY to let me know you want to combine shipping and I will save you money if I can. I'll pack and weigh everything as long as it can be done safely and send you a new invoice. Also, I pack my items very carefully but, let's face it; shipping companies don’t know what’s in a box, even if I mark FRAGILE all over it. I insure most of the items I ship. If you receive something broken you MUST keep it and all the packaging in order for me to file a claim to recover your investment. Please contact me immediately so we can get the ball rolling together. Once I am notified that the claim has been accepted and closed then I will refund the cost of the broken item(s).
FEEDBACK: I am easy to work with and enjoy my customers. If you are not happy please communicate with me and I'll do what I can to make it right. If you are happy with the service you have received, please leave me positive 5-star feedback, keeping in mind that shipping time should be the time it takes me to send you a tracking number after you’ve paid. It is not the time it takes for the box to arrive at your home. Once sellers leave the package with the shipper we cannot control what they do with it, especially with standard/ground shipping. I live on the west coast and when I ship to the east coast it could take several days to reach you. Feedback ratings really do matter to us sellers. I write buyer feedback about once per week.
