4 Vintage Red Rooster Metlox Poppytrail Vernon 10” Dinner Plates USA Mid Century
Plates look pretty nice, nothing worse than light utensil marks and a few spots of minor paint loss to fronts.  No chips, cracks or crazing.  The backs of all of them have some of those "pock marks" , or "gas bubbles", or whatever you call them that is typical of this type of pottery.   ( I've included a couple of close ups of those so you can see exactly what I'm talking about).  I'm guessing it's common to this line of pottery, I've tried looking at other auctions but there seems to not be many sellers willing to show the back of their plates and bowls in this line.
I have more of this pattern in other auctions, and please note:   I have 8 of these total.   These four may not be the exact ones  you receive, but they are all in the same condition.
This item came from a collection of things from an elegant home where the elderly resident was going into assisted living, and had lived in this home for over 60 years.   Many treasures from the 30's to 70's will be listed, so please be sure to check my other listings.   I'll be listing the contents of this home for many months.
